Frida Konstantin (1884–1918) was an Austro-Hungarian painter born in Vienna who worked primarily in the cultural milieu bridging Vienna and Budapest in the early twentieth century. She was a co-founder of the Hungarian artists' association Kéve and participated in its group exhibitions, situating her work within the broader currents of Central European modernism of her era. Interior scenes were a common subject among women painters of this period, offering an intimate domestic register that aligned with emerging Secessionist and Post-Impressionist sensibilities in Vienna and Budapest. Konstantin's significance was affirmed posthumously by her inclusion in the 2019 Österreichische Galerie Belvedere exhibition City of Women: Female Artists in Vienna from 1900 to 1938, which brought renewed attention to her largely overlooked contribution to early twentieth-century art.
